What happens during microdermabrasion is that tiny crystals are used to lightly abrade the skin’s surface, exposing better looking skin. This treatment is also known as power peel, Parisian peel or particle resurfacing. It basically exfoliates the stratum corneum, the skin’s outermost layer. This brings a fresh glowing skin to the surface, removes sun damage and reduces scars and dark spots. That too, after a single sitting of 30-40 minutes!
