i want my face in the long term and now not be to ruined from makeup i wear…
what can i do to keep my skin from getting damaged?
i heard it is good to wear primer. does the primer ruin ur skin? is the laura geller spackle primer good?
its just i hear that when u wear makeup it can be really bad for ur skin….and what is a good cheap moisturizer and what does a moisturizer do?
You won’t ruin your face with makeup unless you don’t take care of Your Skin. Just be sure to wash your face well every night before bed and make sure all the makeup is off.
Yes, a moisturizer is great for your skin. It keeps your skin from over-drying and helps keep skin soft and radiant. Many also contain spf, the sun is the only thing that will damage skin long-term. I suggest anything oil-free and with spf. My personal favorite is Neutrogena for Combination Skin.
And yes, a primer is also good. It isn’t necessary, but if you feel that by noon everyday your makeup is nonexistent, then you should look into a primer. It serves as a barrier between your face and your makeup, which for me helps prevent breakouts, evens my skin texture, and corrects my redness. A lot of people don’t need a primer, but I really love using one. I’ve never tried the Laura Geller, I use Smashbox Photo Finish and Tarte Clean Slate, both are amazing, the tarte being much more light and better for the skin.
As with any routine, just make sure you wash all of your makeup away at night, that is the most important thing.
